Join us for Free Friday Flicks every Friday night in Homewood Park for fun, food and great movies. It's fun for the whole family. Get there for great seating. The movies are free to the public and begin at dusk.

ASO-"Harry Potter and Friends"

Join the Alabama Symphony Orchestra for an evening of cinematic magic, featuring music from all five Harry Potter movies, as well as favorite selections from Pirates of the Caribbean, Spiderman, The Chronicles of Narnia and The Lord of The Rings. The event will be held Friday, May 30th in Caldwell Park, gate opens at 6 pm and concert begins at 8 pm.

Tickets $15 advance, $20 at the park, $10 for students. On sale at the Alys Stephens Box Office, call 251-7277, at all Birmingham area Compass Bank locations and at the gate the night of the event. Concessions will be for sale at the park.


2nd Annual Teen Kickoff Concert
Homewood Public Library

Join the Homewood Public Library at Homewood Park on Oxmoor Road on Friday, May 30th at 6pm for our 2nd Annual Teen Kickoff Concert with CW21 and local band "Heavenly Days." Teens (rising 6th - 12th graders) can register for the summer reading program and enter the library's drawing for fabulous prizes.

CW21 will be on hand passing out goodies, registering for prizes and hosting free activities including coloring, sidewalk chalk drawing, and bubbles. Hang around after the concert for the first Free Friday Flick of the summer (hint: 'a comic book superhero, part 3'). All ages are welcome at this free event.


Gadsden Riverfest 2008
Gadsden Riverfest 2008

Join CW 21 at the Gadsden Riverfest, June 13 - 14 at Moragne Park on Hwy 411 in Gadsden. Gates open at 4:00 pm on Friday and 1:00 pm on Saturday.

Friday night artists include The Last Goodnight, Billy Ocean and Sister Hazel. Saturday catch Jeremy Lesley, Earl Thomas Conley, Little River Band and Clint Black.
